Jon was drawn to AutoVitals by the company’s unwavering commitment to enabling automotive repair & maintenance shops to meet their true potential. Jon previously led successful technology companies such as Active Network (ACTV) and Cursive Labs. He’s passionate about family, America, and the new family Volvo XC60 and helping business owners succeed.

Ron Schooler

Chief Financial Officer

Ron is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of experience in technology companies. He has held leadership positions in software, hardware, and SaaS companies across a variety of industries. Outside of work, Ron enjoys spending time with his family and has several hobbies including paragliding, scuba diving, and hiking

Jennifer Thronson

Chief Operating Officer

Jenn has been CEO of BayIQ, a loyalty and marketing platform for auto repair and tire shops, for the last 2 years. She is excited to join forces with AutoVitals to provide even more value to customers. Jenn has spent the last several years building and leading technology companies. She enjoys learning new things, playing and coaching soccer, and spending time with friends and family.

Taren Peng

VP, Technology

Taren is an experienced technologist and passionate about the Automotive industry. He’s held critical technology leadership roles at Autoweb & Autobytel, as well as Paypal. And amazingly, Taren also owned and operated an automotive repair shop earlier in his career. Taren enjoys working on cars, trucks, and motorcycles, and taking them to race tracks and off-road rides when time permits.

Jeff Ballard

Director, Onboarding & Training

Jeff has spent nearly his entire career serving customers of the automotive industry on the dealership, aftermarket, and software sides. He is focused on delivering a stellar customer experience with every interaction and driving results for his clients. Jeff resides in Phoenix with his family, enjoys wrenching on his own cars, and hopes to one day own his dream car: an e39 BMW M5.

Robert Allen

Director, Product Management

Robert, who joined AutoVitals in 2019, has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. His experience includes working in car dealerships, independent auto repair shops, and software companies dedicated to the automotive industry. He is passionate about the industry, and providing tools that improve the efficiency, and performance of shops, their employees, and the communities they serve. In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, walks with the dog, live music, and going to the beach.
