Shop Effectiveness Reports: TeE Times

The TeE Times Reports give you a ton of valuable insight into your shop and soon you’ll be running like a well oiled machine.  In the first video in the Reporting Training Series, we’ll go over some basic functionality and explain some of the data you’ll see in the reports.

In the TeE-Times Report, you are able to search by date range, including the current and previous pay period pre-populated, Particular Technicians or all Technicians, RO #, and by the reports explained below. The payroll report is the most summarized and it has incorporated the data from the other reports.

 

 

All Activities Report allows you to see all activities the technician completes on the tablet and add a missing activity

 

RO Only Report shows activity as rows corresponding to ROs such as when jobs were marked completed, whether the job timers were used

 

 

 

RO + TeE-Times Report shows activity as rows corresponding to ROs and the TeE-Times

 

TeE-Times Only Report shows activity as rows corresponding to TeE Times selected including

  • Elapsed time/RO and tech [h] – Total amount of time that has elapsed within the particular RO that is noted in the row
  • Total time clocked in/tech [h] – Total amount of time clocked in so far into the activity shown in the row
  • Pay Category No activity when not in a Vehicle on tablet and no TeE-Time selected, Work when Vehicle is open on tablet, Other TeE-Times when Lunch or other TeE-Times are selected
  • TeE-Time [h] – Amount of Time elapsed in a certain TeE-Time selected on tablet
  • RO Closed out– Explains whether the RO is closed in SMS (YES/ NO)
  • Job completed– Explains whether the job is completed  (YES/ NO)
  • Billed hours/ job [h] – Total amount of billed hours completed on the job so far based on the job complete dropdown on each labor line on tablet worksheet (it can be broken down into fourths, e.g. a 4 hour job marked 25% complete would show 1.00 hour in this column)
  • Billed hours/ RO [h] – Total amount of billed hours completed on the RO noted in the row (based on the job complete dropdown on the tablet worksheet)
  • Completed hours/ tech [h] – Total amount of billed hours completed by the technician so far from the beginning of the time period search to the activity shown in the row

 

 

 

RO Summary + Jobs Report allows you to see the time spent working on the jobs compared to the billed hours on the jobs per technician

 

RO Summary Report allows you to see the time spent working on the RO compared to the bulled hours on the RO per technician

  • Actual hours [h] – Time on the job measured by the jobs timers on the tablet
  • Overtime / day and tech [h] – The hours overtime determined calculated over the “Normal Hours” configured for each technician in the Inspection Settings page
  • Clocked in – Time clocked in
  • Clocked out – Time clocked out

 

Goal/Pace Report allows you to determine whether technicians are reaching their goals of completed billed hours in the previous pay period or determine how they are doing in the current pay period

  • Work days/ pay period – Number of workdays in the pay period
  • Time budget [h] – Number of billed hours the technician is expected to complete in the day
  • Performed hours [h] – Total amount of billed hours the technician has completed
  • Goal [h] – The amount of billed hours a technician is expected to complete in the pay period if their time budget is the amount of billed hours they are expected to complete per day.
  • Pace[h] – The amount of billed hours a technician is projected to complete in the pay period if they continue to complete jobs at the rate they have completed so far into the pay period.

 

The Payroll Report calculates the Technician Efficiency, Productivity, and Proficiency for a time period and provides an overview of the completed billed hours, worked hours and clock-in time

 

  • Clocked Time [h] – Total time clocked in for the time period
  • Overtime [h] – Total Amount of time spent clocked in over the configured “Normal Hours” in the Inspection Settings page for the Technician
  • Worked hours [h] – Total amount of time the technician had ROs open on their tablet, which is counted toward productive time on the clock
  • Finished billed hours [h] – Total completed billed hours in the time period
