Exercise 3.1.19 Technicians not using voice to text dictation

  1. On the tablet – Open a workorder and select the notes field.

  2. Have an assistant time you

  3. Use the voice to text to record the customer complaint and cause of the complaint as an example.

  4. Edit for any minor changes needed.

  5. Record the time.

  6. Give the tablet to the technician.

  7. Time the Technician

  8. Have the Technician manually type the same paragraph.

  9. Record the time.

  10. Restate that the voice to text saves valuable Technician time.
