This is communication gap was no doubt unintentional and is easily fixed though, and with their focus on customer service and satisfaction, I suspect they'll make an effort to do so.

First off the shop was very busy due to the groupon.com customers, and I had to reschedule my appointment due to a change in my work schedule. The woman on the phone, Adriana (I think), worked with me to find another suitable time slot. I was so greatful because my car was way over due for an oil change. When I arrived at the shop Jason, the rep who helped me, was very knowledgeable and was not intimidating, which is something I have experienced at other auto shops in the past. He let me know what services they recommended for my car. For instance, he recommended a 60K mile service and even quoted a price. The quote was much more reasonable than a few other shops I had checked with for the same service. When my car was done I was very satisfied. They even finished a little ahead of schedule.

After checking the yelp reviews (which were great), I got the deal for an oil change (I usually go to Jiffy Lube to change my oil). When I visited the shop, the customer service was great, the mechanic was not pushy and very knowledgeable. He explained to me what needed to be fixed on my Mitsubishi. I got a quote at the end of my visit for things that need fixing without asking, which was great. Also, Vickers created a website for my car where I can track problems and make future appointments. I have been recommending Vickers to all my friends who need mechanics and I will never to go Jiffy Lube again!
