Once you create your free AutoVitals account and provide more specifics about your vehicle as well as details how you drive, AutoVitals will calculate your personalized recommended oil change interval (minor service interval) and your potential savings.
How is this savings calculated?
AutoVitals uses the car maker's vehicle type specific car service interval definitions to calculate your personalized service interval based on how you drive. The result is then compared against the fixed 3,000 mile oil change service interval recommended by many quick lube places. Savings are calculated for the average lifetime of the vehicle.

After you have become a member of AutoVitals recommend your current shop. This shop must
not
be an existing AutoVitals member.
As soon as the recommended shop has joined AutoVitals, you and all shop customers, who recommended that particular shop get notified by email.
Once the shop has joined, it will be added to your account, and the complete set of AutoVitals features will be activated. These features included online scheduling, vehicle specific problem fixes and the personalized service calendar.
Don't delay your recommendation!
If there is more than one recommendation for the same shop, only the first recommendation received by AutoVitals is eligible for the $100 certificate. You will receive it by email.
Additionally a drawing will be held to determine 5 iPod Touch winners from all members who recommended a shop.
Before your next visit at the recommended shop send or take the certificate to the service advisor in less than 30 days from the issuing date.
The service advisor will then take $100 (or the total balance if less than $100) off your invoice at vehicle pick up. Note that no cash will be paid out to you and that this discount can't be combined with other coupons or discounts.
